Regutol Syrup is mainly used to treat mild forms of constipation. It is used when straining to have a bowel movement needs to be avoided, mostly after a heart attack or a surgery. Regutol is a stool softener and it works by increasing the amount of water the stools absorb in the gut, making the stool softer and easier to pass.
