Protectoderm Ointment

Protectoderm ointment is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations. It softens and moisturizes the skin and thereby decreases itching and flaking. Role of key ingredients:Zinc oxide is a mild astringent used topically to soothe and protect irritated skin.Calamine has mild astringent, antipruritic and antiseptic actions and is used in a variety of skin conditions like sunburns, eczema and urticaria where it acts as a soothing and protective agent.Cetrimide has anti-bacterial properties.Cetrimide is indicated for use in cleaning and disinfection of wounds, burns and skin.Dimethicone protects the skin against water-soluble irritants. Dimethicone is also used topically as wound dressings. Protectoderm ointment is an effective way to combat dry skin conditions and skin irritation. Use under medical supervision.
