Sarbet MF Ointment

Sarbet MF Ointment is a combination of four medicines: Betamethasone, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Urea which treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Urea are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. They also enhance the absorption of Betamethasone into the skin.
