Baidyanath (Jhansi) Mayur-Chandrika Bhasma is a classical ayurvedic medicine with antiemetic and antispasmodic properties. It is beneficial in dealing with nausea and vomiting. It is also helpful for preventing hiccups, coughs and asthma. Mayur Chandrika Bhasma is prepared from peacock feathers. Peacock feathers are taken and burnt with cow’s ghee (clarified butter) to make Mayur Chandrika Bhasma.
