Wash the hands with soap and water and pat them dry

Use an alcohol swab to clean the finger to ensure it is completely dry

Take a test strip and insert it into the slot on the glucometer before pricking the finger

Use a new and clean lancet and prick the side of the fingertip

Wait till the blood oozes out and wipe off the first drop

Then put a drop or two onto the designated place on the test strip

Hold a clean cotton pad or gauze on the area of the prick to stop the blood flow

The blood glucose level should appear on the glucometer’s display

Safety Information:

Do not freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat

Indicate the first opening date on the bottle

Use test strips within 3 months after the first opening date

Recap the bottle immediately after removing a test strip from the bottle

Handle the strip only with dry and clean hands
